Meet Korean food using local ingredients at the farmers market in downtown Seoul, the city of taste.

  • Our market brings food, arts, and culture together.
    Korean foods will be showcased using local ingredients,
    giving you a healthy and pleasant eating experience.

  • The farmers market can make you understand seasonal
    ingredients better. Seoul Marché promotes collaborations
    between chefs and farmers and searches to build a food
    festival based on local farmers, chefs,
    and citizens' participation.

  • Seoul citizens and residents from all over the world
    can experience a sustainable culinary culture for the earth.

Main Programs

  • Food Table

    Korean tapas: Finger food made by fermentation and ssam (vegetable wraps)

    • Operating hours11:00-16:00

    We have prepared light bites based on each chef's personality and identity and the diversity of ingredients in season. Fermentation and ssam eating are added to reinterpret Korean cuisine.

    *Various teams work together for the Food Table in charge of fermentation, ssam, salad, BBQ, desserts, and beverages.

  • Food Workshop

    You can taste and learn Korean specialties with joy for arts and nature.

    • 1Korean Sool, the beauty of fermentation: Pick the traditional sool for your taste (featuring The Sool Gallery)
    • 2Anju in Fall, the beauty in season: Anju means food consumed with alcohol. There will be an anju plate made with seasonal ingredients (featuring Number of Cases)
    • 3Vegetables in Season, the earth's energy: Join a sensory workshop using fall's ingredients (featuring Small Batch Studio)
    • 4Seaweed, the vegetables from the ocean: Listen to the stories of the sea vegetables and taste them (featuring Our Planet)
    • 5Tapas Contest, small bites in season: Citizens will participate in this program to make light bites (featuring Maja Kitchen)

  • Farmers Market

    Sixty teams from local food markets will participate in this event. Come and meet local vegetables, uniquely Korean ingredients, and many other items.
    It is also a zero-waste market run by farmers, chefs, handicraft experts, and citizens..

  • Event
    Seoul Gourmet Week Booth

    - The information booth will offer you promotional materials and a guide for the 2022 events.

    Recycle and Reuse Booth

    -There will be a zero-waste space where you can donate used packages,
    including bottles, paper bags, and cold packs. You can also rent a food container here.
    -A mini workshop is open for everyone, where you can make vegetable bags with used posters and newspapers.

    Performance in Season

    -Le French Code, an indie jazz label, has prepared performances that can be paired with seasonal food.
